Owner, David McBride
I am the owner and operator of Sir Grout Southwest Missouri. I was born and raised in Springfield, MO, where I currently reside with my wife Layne, and two children Emma and Ollie. At a very young age, I knew Springfield would always be my home and I'm so glad to be able to raise my family in the same town I grew up in! Early in my career, after finishing up school, I worked as a field supervisor in residential construction for approximately four years. I left the construction industry to pursue a career in sales where I later became a sales director. At that point in my life I knew I was ready to tackle a new challenge and decided to start my own business.
I researched many franchise opportunities and after many conversations with the franchise owners of Sir Grout I knew I had found a great fit! I have owned the Southwest Missouri territory since 2014 and I'm focused on growing the business every year to meet the demand of all the Southwest Missouri customers! I am confident that with my highly-trained team delivering a top notch service to our customers, Sir Grout Southwest Missouri will soon be a household name here in the Ozarks!
Lead Technician, Tyler Potter
My name is Tyler Potter and I am the lead technician for Sir Grout Southwest Missouri. I'm a Springfield native and attended Glendale High School, and I am a Drury graduate. After university, I worked a few different jobs, but I felt the need to venture out of Missouri. I spent a year traveling and volunteering all around Europe. When I returned to the states, I still had the desire to travel, so I loaded up my truck and headed to Colorado where I worked as a ski lift mechanic for Vail Resorts. I lived there for three years before moving back to Missouri to be closer to family, spending as much time at Table Rock Lake as possible!
Technician, Jason Gunter
I have spent the last six years carving out a living in the Ozark Mountains of northern Arkansas, but recently relocated my family to Springfield, Missouri to serve as the Student Pastor at Glenstone Baptist Church. My experience in code enforcement, as well as project management, have helped me find a home with Sir Grout. I am a Springfield native and I'm glad to be back in my hometown serving my community and spending time with my family.
All Sir Grout SW Missouri Technicians are trained in house and held to a high standard of workmanship and ethical behavior. All jobs are completed by our employees and none of our work is performed by subcontractors.
